Pam

Jenkins

Throughout Pam’s lifetime, she has been helplessly in love with water. As a child, One could most often find her in or on or near water or in museums, in art studios, or on basketball courts.

In college in Vermont and Montana, she studied arts and sciences, built stringed musical instruments and eventually became a Physical Therapist. Motion fascinates her.

She supports her community through her love of art by volunteering at Homer Center for the Arts as gallery docent and helps install and take down shows. She studies, thinks, writes and speaks out on environmental issues facing her local town and county, urging more thoughtful and careful decision-making especially as it relates to the aquifer she resides on.

In recent years, she has turned her attention more towards creating art. Through her art she hopes to convey much about her sense of wonder, joy, sorrow, loss, hopes and dreams.
